Release Date: July 17, 2014
My Rating: 5 stars
Raven Mackenzie has a normal life, a great job in finances and a never-ending closet. At the end of a hard day the only thing she wants is to spend time with her best friend Luke, her constant companion since they were teenagers.
Ash is an Angel of Death and for thousands of years he’s been taking souls to the other side. Now he faces his toughest mission. He made a promise to Raven’s father, a promise he intends to keep. He must help Raven survive no matter what the cost. Even if it means taking her into a world he hates.
When Raven meets Ash, her normal life is rocked to its core. No longer a human but an Angel of death, she is given a choice. She must decide between eternal torment and murder.
As Raven’s world crumbles around her, she finds herself torn between the decision she must make, her past, and the future she wants.
Will Raven be able to make the right choice before time runs out?
Ms. Murphy hits the ground running! In Raven Falling, a one night stand turns out to be quite the life changer.
The author turns our beliefs of Heaven on their ear in a spectacular fashion. The comfortable world us mere humans live in is really just all a game to The Shadows. And now, Raven is a part of this evil game.
Ash has been tasked to help and protect Raven, but at a great cost to himself. As Raven learns more of Ash’s burden, the more she is drawn to him. While Ash introduces Raven to this angel life, Luke keeps her firmly planted in the human world. Raven must come to terms with her human life and her angel life. Yet, all of her choices leave her fighting for her life!
The author does an excellent job with all of the twists and turns. She keeps you guessing all the way to the end. I could not put this book down! I truly look forward to getting my hands on book #2!
I’ll leave you with this, if given the choice, what would you pick?
